Questions to Ask Insurance

Calling to verify your benefits is a good idea before our first appointment just to make sure you know exactly what will and won’t be covered. If you have BCBS, Regence, Cigna, Aetna, Molina, Kaiser, or United/UMR please ask the questions for out of network coverage. If you have MODA, PacificSource, Providence, Premera, or FirstChoice please ask the questions for in network.

  1. Do I have out of network benefits?
  2. What is my copay/coinsurance for a specialist with out of network benefits and for in network benefits? Is this subject to deductible?
  3. What is my annual family deductible and annual individual deductible? Have I met my deductible yet? (your insurance often will not start paying until you meet your deductible)
  4. Do I have coverage for naturopathic doctor services?
  5. Is there a limit on the number of visits per year for naturopathic medicine?
  6. Does my plan require a prior authorization for naturopathic medicine or for codes 97140 or 98926?
  7. Does my plan cover telehealth visits?

We have a 48-hour cancellation policy. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Failure to do so may result in a no-show/late cancellation fee. Your time is valuable, and so is ours, and this policy helps us serve all our patients effectively.

Please note that our practice primarily focuses on specialty care. If you are interested in primary care services or have specific primary care needs, we recommend contacting our front desk. Our staff will be happy to assist you in scheduling the appropriate services or guiding you to a suitable provider.
